A patchwork motiff
With the disintegration of my 'primary' job, things are looking scary for me. Granted, I have a few potential new jobs out there, but won't hear for weeks. Will keep looking for more opportunities. In the mean time, universe, here is how you can help:

- Early snow. Snow removal for my townhouse association pays well.

- More work from Design Zoo. The bossman said there may be something else coming in; would love for that to pan out.

- Destroy NightOwl. That way I can push for more hours at Jeune Lune in the evenings and change over crew at CTC without worrying about the erratic schedule of the job that should be paying the bills (yet is most obviously not doing so).

So I could have work from 5 different employers: NightOwl, Children's Theater Company, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Evergreen Square Condo Association, and Design Zoo. And between the five of them, I can barely pay my mortgage. This sucks.

what kind of work/hours/location are you looking for?

Right now, it's all about just getting the money for bills, and not interfering with my previous commitments, mainly with the Jeune Lune. I take my commitments seriously.

I'll let you know if I hear about anything. The only one I know about now is a half-time job-share receptionist position - they're looking for someone for the long term, so I don't know that it would be a good fit.

*hug* Job stuff can be really frustrating. On a silly sort of bright note, I think I must have missed you buying a townhouse during one of my periods of no internet. (or else I have a really horrible memory, and am just embarrased). That is so fantastic. I am so far from being able to do such a thing myself, though that is partly not being entirely settled and also being single. Think positive thoughts. Something will come through.
