The Pillowman
The Dime
A group of people gathered last night and we did an informal reading of the play The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh. It was intensely dark and oddly humourous at times. I highly recommend to all my friends. I was fortunate enough to read the role of Karutian, the writer of macabre and sad stories.

It was very hot to be reading a play with peoples last night. No assignment, no expectations, just reading a play because we wanted to do that. Invigorating, as well, that I can do it on my grown-up version of a school night. My social life need not die simply because I fall asleep at 11 most nights!
